Exercise: Try moving your hand around the guitar’s neck, you don’t need to be fretting anything, just make sure that your thumb is sitting comfortably no matter where you do it.

3. Don’t Press Like A Bull, Nor Like A Feather- Putting the correct amount of pressure on a string is a bit of an art form. Put too little, and suddenly you aren’t playing the right note, put too much, and suddenly you can’t change from that sound. It could also cause injuries. To remedy this, try playing at higher BPM if you’re pressing too hard, and lower BPM if you’re pressing too softly.
